How to Upgrade your Braided Buns – 2 Best Tutorials

1. A Folded Braid French Twist

Braided buns are super easy but so beautiful and elegant. But it’s a little common. However, the folded braid French twist is a different story. It’s still easy tho, but you look so cool with it. Follow 4 steps below to copy the style.

Step 1:

Do a low ponytail and secure it at the nape of your neck with a hair tie. Next, make a simple three-strand braid and tie it off.

Step 2:

Create more volume for your braid by gently pulling your hair.

Step 3:

Use one finger to hold the base of your ponytail, flip the tail up with the other one.

Step 4:

Tuck the tail in, and press the folded braid against your head. Keep your hairstyles secured with more pins.

2. A Double-Braided Bun

Braided buns may be boring sometimes. However, a double-braided bun is sleek and rock every summer.

Step 1:

Pull your hair up and make a ponytail.

Step 2:

Smooth a dollop of mousse (about the size of a tennis ball) into the tail of the pony to further smooth out the hair for a super defined braid.

Step 3:

Divide the tail into 2 equal parts and create a three-strand braid each side. Then tie them off with hair ties.

Step 4:

While holding the ends tucked behind, pull 2 braids forward and make a “roll”.

Step 5:

Get back to the braided tails that you let in the back, place them in the back of the bun after crossing two of them over each other.

Step 6:

Pull the ends forward and keep wrapping them around the base of the bun that you have just created. Finish the ends to cover them. Tweak the braided bun shape how you prefer, and use pins to hold it in the right place throughout the entire day.
